After some months my watch 5 got disconnected from the phone (no idea why) so had to reset the watches to connect it to the same phone 😞 I cannot connect my watches to the phone anymore - the paring gets stuck around 81% and then it restarts the process. Spent 3h to make it work and no success even when trying to reset wifi/bluetooth/reinstall app etc. No way I am resetting my phone to factory defaults.

I don't have a solution but I will just add that my watch somehow managed to connect to my phone, ind the end and has been working normally for maybe... two months? I honestly can't remember, and I can't come up with any solution which is beyond frustrating, because I'm basically the "it works for me now" guy, and because samsung still doesn't seem to have come up with a fix. Or maybe they have, and that's why it suddenly worked? I think I just left bluetooth on my phone turned on and then i suddenly noticed my watch 4 had connected.
Edit: I just realized that this is an entirely new thread about the watch 6, whereas I have a watch 4, and not the one I previously commented on, but the problem seems to match the one I had pretty well, so oh well.

I will try that, just have it on and hope it will connect on day, thanks for the information.

I have the same issue with my S22 and new watch 6 classic. Tried all the tricks in the book:
The silly thing is that I can connect with the old (none Samsung) phone from my daughter.
Since I just bought the watch I probably return it. Maybe Galaxy watches are just not build for Galaxy phones...
BTW, this problem exists from Jan 2024? Really?
BTW2, no way I would factory reset my phone for this.

Try this; it's 100% guaranteed to work because I had the same issues and fixed it in less than a minute. Of course, this was after searching for a solution for months.
Step 1: Go to Settings, then Apps. Type "play" in the search bar ( inside the apps ) and look for these: (1) Google Play Store, (2) Google Play Services.
If you have more than two (sometimes two Play Services), follow these steps for all of them:
Click Google Play Store, then Permissions, and YOU MUST GIVE ALL PERMISSIONS. IT'S A MUST. Then go back and choose Storage, then Clear Cache. Do the same steps with Google Play Services, and again, YOU MUST GIVE ALL PERMISSIONS. After doing so, connect your watch, and congratulations, your watch is connected now!
