US Gear Fit 2 Pro with a UK/EU Samsung S9+

Heya

I'm a UK Samsung S9+ user in America for a few months. I have the oppourtunity to get a Gear Fit Pro 2 (I just want a watch that will sync with S. Health and track my swimming) to replace my fitbit that kicked the bucket.

Was wondering if there were any people who knew whether there would be any compatibility issues between them?

I know that the Gear Fit is just a fitness tracker rather than a smart watch, which is all I need from it, so was hoping it'd be fine.
