Update draining battery on galaxy watch 5

Has this update ruined anyone else's battery life? Any workarounds?

I have had the Watch4 updated for a few days now and powered it off when it needed re-charging, and yes, indeed, it seems to have levelled out. I put it on power saver mode too and even though I've got all the health monitors going continuously, it's still chugging away better than before the update. Thank you Samsung 😊

I've lost 50% overnight while in sleep mode and was getting nearly a day and a half before the update it's horrendous and makes my watch unusable

I've tried everything including a reset. My watch was fine before the update now it's unusable unless I charge it at work half way through the day which is unacceptable.
This is the second watch I've had that suddenly had this issue after an update after a new watch has been released it's kind of a coincidence and if they don't release an update to fix this I will be buying another watch but it definitely won't be another Samsung sadly

Im experiencing same issue, and i met a colleague sharing the same Experience of reduced battery from more than 2 days to less than 30hrs

easily went from 36+ hours to now around 5, I need an update to the update soon, Samsung really needs to fix this it was ruined my watch

Samsung too much disappointing me for buyining any other product because of the watch 5pro battery draining issue after the last updation

My Watch 5 drains from 100 to 0 in just 6 hours in the power saving mode. This is my worst Samsung buy ever. Tried everything possible but the Samsung Sync Contacts continue to drain my battery continuously. DOne atleast 5 resets and disabled syncs. Still the battery works well (100 to 0 in 12 hours for me) and then again worsens in a few days. Samsung, please help!!
