Tips ripped on my buds 3 pro

I tried swapping the tips on my buds 3 pro which i got today and when I pulled them off they just ripped. I went on Google and saw this is a comment problem. Is there a way to get some replacement tips without sending them back to the supplier?

You are correct that during the early release phase, there were issues with 'quality control' on the buds 3 pro, and they were taken off sale for a period of time, whilst the issue was resolved.

I believe samsung recalled back the affected batches.

I do not believe there is a way to resolve without return and inspection, but your first action should be to contact the Samsung customer services team. They can advise how to proceed.

Yes you are correct, the early batches had this problem, you could consider using this as an opportunity to try third party tips like memory foam or Dio tips etc for a better fit.

I'm using the AZLA SednaEarfit Crystal for Galaxy Buds 3 Pro Smoky Black in medium. 


Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

mine just ripped on the customer support dept and taking forever to get replacements
