Hi,
I am not able to open my Strava App on my Galaxy Watch Active 2 device since yesterday (2-July-2020).
As a result I am not able to record or sync any activities to Strava.
I did try to restart my device, upgrade app if available, but no luck so far.
Any help is appreciated.

One work around I found was to uninstall and reinstall the Strava App from Samsung Store.
But lost all my previously recorded data.
Atleast the app works now.
Hopefully I don't come across any new issues in the coming days 🙂

Hi all,
I'm facing the same issue. Deinstalling the app was a thought i had too but I'm afraid to loose my recorded routes ...
Before the App Update the synchronization didnt work either 😞

I'm having the same issue, have reset watch to factory, reinstalled strava, it starts recording but when I'm done I swipe left, click on Save and the watch screen eventually goes blank. I can get it back on but strava ride is gone. Not saved.

How to you instal from Samsung Store? I only get the option of the Galaxy Store.

this is really painful, neither Samsung doing anything or Strava doing anything . When you call Samsung support, there are bunch of jokers sitting and reading the scripts. Only thing they can do is ask you to reset watch or send it to support for repair and of course Strava does not have any support

Really dissapointing, I will surely return the watch. No solutions in several months.

Strava has an support were you can open tickets for your issues.
They are steadily updating the Sync issue for the Galaxy Watch here:

You can follow this issue to get a notification as soon as there is an update available!
Hope they will fix it soon, dont want to buy a separate heartrate sensor, neither i'm willing to pay for strava+ ...

It has been more than a month now. Strava released several builds but none of them can fix the sync issue.
I'm leaving Strava to another running app.
