Samsung Smarttags - Takes away the OCD worry

During a trio earlier this year, my luggage was lost, left in the UK, I had a tag in the suitcase but assumed the Smarttag was faulty and wrong.

Fast forward to a few recent tips and I keep a Smarttag2 or 1 in each suitcase and hand carry bags.

AR functionality has gone, but cool to know your luggage is on the plane and when it is arriving on the belt to collect.

Do you think these are a useful thing to have when travelling? Do you know of any other usages when not travelling? Would love to hear what you think of these. Thanks!

I used mine in my suitcase and although it was in Heathrow correctly, it told me it was still in Barbados aa no Android phone had pinged it! So I'm not so sure they are that good currently.... but hoping it will improve

Of course, the major ones for me are:
1. Vehicle tracking, I prefer Smarttags to the vehicle app
2. Automation, to routines, turning things on or off.
3. Panic buttons (routine)
4. One in my wallet.
5. One in my sons school bag

For sure, Apple Airtags are better as a much larger network, but less functional than Smarttags, but now Google has joined the game, but it's not part of the Samsung network, so unless any nearby Samsung devices or WIFI then won't be detected.

Hoping Google or Samsung realise, the Samsung Find App is better and join forces to gain a bigger network coverage.

To add bikes and scooters, I hid one in each bike and spotted it last week. Samsung has partnered with Micro Sccoter for the kids' version, but I would love one embedded within my Micro eScooter Explorer.
