Hey. Give Samsung a break
It's a First Gen device and so probably there are lots of things they might have missed and/or not thought off.
Giving Samsung a "break" is unwarranted and demonstrates a lack of understanding of the issue. Sizing is a fundamental aspect of any wearable device, and Samsung should have addressed this in the initial development of the Galaxy Ring. The version number is irrelevant; proper sizing should have been established from the beginning based on comprehensive user data.
This morning, my partner and I visited the Samsung store in Kings Cross, London, to get measured for the ring. While it fit her index finger, it was too small for me, making it extremely difficult to remove. My ring size is approximately UK Z+2 to Z+3 (71-72mm), which exceeds the available size 13. This limitation is disappointing and prevents me from purchasing the Galaxy Ring. The Samsung assistant suggested using it on my pinkie finger, but that solution is impractical and aesthetically unappealing. Just to add context, I am not overweight, I am tall at 6'2" and my hands are in proportion to me.
Interestingly, the size 13 Oura ring fits me (albeit snugly); however, I prefer to stay within the Samsung ecosystem for its integrated technology features. Samsung needs to consider more sizes for this version ring rather than wait for future versions of the Galaxy Ring to accommodate users effectively.

I am 5' 8" male with small hands yet size 13 is not comfortable (too small) on index finger!! Fortunately size 12 fits my "ring finger" OK.
