Samsung health notification not being read out through buds 2

When using samsung health on my Galaxy watch ultra notifications are not being read through my bud 2 pros, I swapped back to my watch 6 classics and notifications work fine, checked that the setting are the same between watches, but still no joy. has anyone else had this issue?

Hello buggy, when you say settings are the same do you mean the one on the watch, under exercise, settings ?

Hey there, did you tried to unpair completely and set up as new device? Also "read aloud while phone is on" also you can download "goodlock" from galaxy store and download "routines" from the app then make a routine everytime you connect the buds
Add the action "read notifications out loud_" click it and add apps you want to read it from, it won't read the app name but it will read notifications from it. and if you want to read whole messages notifications, disable it in galaxy wearable app and enable it on routines. Hope it helps

Yep, I checked the setting on both the exercise and general notifications. The strange thing is all other notifications are being read out via the buds when using the watch ultra, emails, messages, etc, it's just notifications from the health app that are not working, however they are coming through the watch but not the buds,

Is your phone connected to the watch through wearable app? Did you tried unpair and pair your watch? Anyone you sure all notifications are turned on? Because on my watch 7 I couldn't access certain settings after reseting and repairing watch problem was resolved

I will try resetting my watch and giving it another try, I had a lot of issues with the 4g calling and had to reset the watch a couple of times before it started working, I will let you know how I get on

Please do. I had few issues when I started "the watch thing" back in the day but managed to sort it out myself and now I know what's what. But hopes up for you and come back if it was any help 🙂

I tried resitting my watch and setting up a routine, but no joy,. so I'm starting to think it's a software issue

I think I have sorted it. It was an issue with the way the buds had connected to my watch, the watch took the connection from the phone when I set the watch up. so I unpaid the buds from the watch and phone, turned off bluetooth on the phone ( so the buds didn't automatically connect) i then paired the buds to the watch once I confirmed they worked I paired the buds back to my phone and surprisingly it worked! I hope that made sense.
