Hi people,
I was wondering if anyone else has been experiencing some questionable durability on the Galaxy Watch4?
Less than a month after unboxing my black 40mm LTE model, it got some abnormally deep scratches on its face, despite undergoing the same normal usage that other (far cheaper) smartwatches/fitness trackers have withstood for years without such damage.
Samsung Support stated that their warranty did not cover cosmetic damage.
Fair enough, but they weren't able to approximate a repair cost (despite having clear pictures of the damage).
This contrasts a lot when compared to the other very few support experiences I've had whilst dealing with products damaged to this extent, with the likes of Oculus Support.
So, has anyone else had any similar experiences with their Galaxy Watch, or is it just me?
My original theory was that I got a defective unit with abnormally weak glass, and at the moment I can't think of a reason why this couldn't be the case.
Thanks guys, I look forward to hearing what you have to say.
