No media audio - buds plus

Hey guys, I got some buds plus today and can't seem to get any media coming through them, calls work fine. Media is enabled in Bluetooth settings for them, I've tried resetting them about 3 times doing it in the case and out of the case and can't figure out why it's happening..

Any help would be appreciated

Do you have the Galaxy wearable app installed?

Yeah, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and still no luck, just weird that calls work but literally no other sounds do.

I only got them today as part of the A series promo

Hmm do the media sounds go through your phone? Do you have any other Bluetooth audio devices connected like a speaker or another pair of buds?

If you pull notifications down and extend them again, click on media. Under audio output, does it show the buds plus?

Yeah it's really weird, my Huawei freebuds worked fine

Freebuds working fine so definitely not my phone settings

That truly is weird. I'm at a loss as to what could cause this, sorry. 😞

Turning off A2DP hardware offload in developer options fixed the no media audio issue from my A52 5G when paired with Galaxy buds+

Cool I've give it a go, last night I turned my phone off for 20 seconds like they say in trouble shooting, they worked but after I put them in the case and took them back out I had the same issue
