My Watch6 does not ring when is not on my wrist.

Hello!

I have watch 6 classic and I would like you to confirm if your watch rings when it is not in on your hand and nothing is displayed on the screen. I used to use Gear S3 when I put it on the bedside table so that the secretary would wake me up if necessary because I don't want to sleep with the phone next to my head. Now it doesn't ring at all and only if I pick it up it displays the call but without ringing. Is this normal? How to fix that?

thought that how it's supposed to be not ringing when not wearing them. my watch 4 classic doesn't ring when I'm not wearing it , and I like it that way
