For those who have been asking. First thing I will mention is ear irritation.
My ears have been fine and have not experienced any irritation from wearing these.
Can not guarantee this for everyone, we are all different. Fingers crossed you will have the same experience.
I read some have said the buds 3 pro feel like cheap plastic. Not for me, I think the quality feels premium. I have put a case on mine, which gives a grip when holding them. Little more fussing around putting them back in the case due to getting the stem in place. But once in, if you drop these, less likely they will be flying out the case like previous buds. Got a Pretty solid hold once in.
Had to do a little adjusting to get a good fit. Not going to lie, was a little nervous about changing the tips. So was glad I got a perfect fit for both in the end. The stems are not too bad, I do still prefer the look of the previous buds. Especially when your daughter says. Nice cyber man pods. I know what a cyber man is from doctor who, but had to look up pods to see what she was going on about. Talk about winding me up. Maybe I should have got them in white. Little does she know they do actually light up like cyber man pods. I'll keep it that way😂. I didn't find them uncomfortable, you can feel them in the ears, similar to the buds 2 pro. Wouldn't say one is more comfortable then the other. No trouble with them slipping out, once in they stayed in place. I should try different tips just to see what's best for me.
Are they an improvement from the buds 2 pro?
This is going to be a mix from many. Our ears are all different, we all have different preferences.
I did have a little trouble when testing. Swapping out the buds 3 pro to the buds 2 pro. Going back to the buds 3 pro. They connected but sound was not playing through the buds from where I left off on the track I was listening too. I had to keep disconnecting and reconnecting. Buds 2 pro wasn't doing the same. Maybe I was confusing the phone. Buds 3 pro are new and I do expect some bugs.
I got there in the end.
I can hear an improvent in sound with the buds 3 pro. I'm no expert on discribing sound quality. The bass sounds smoother the treble sounds smoother. They are both well balanced. Bass is more punchy, for me they do provide a clearer sound. It's not a mind blowing improvement but it is to me improved. You also have a custom equaliser within the wear app, including the normal choices. Dynamic, bass etc. I have no clue with custom so stuck with dynamic. Handy for people that do use a custom who have downloaded third party apps or used the one good lock.
Active noise cancelling
When you have it on, it's an improvement. While testing, I thought well this isn't improved. Going back into the wear app, it's on ambient. So I discovered while adjusting the buds I'm actually turning off ANC. There is a setting in the controls to turn this off or change. When it is on, it's an improvement. I couldn't hear any one talking or noise surroundings with the volume half way. Voice control worked really well, heard me everytime I spoke and did what I asked. I don't tend to sing outloud, but I'll be testing that today for someone who put a post up yesterday. Seems to think they were having a conversation and turned volume down.
I received mine Sunday, and i know many are still waiting. Hope Samsung get these delivered to you real soon. As I would like to know others opinions on these. But so far I'm really enjoying them. For the price compared to others on the market. I think they are worth it. I still think my buds 2 pro were worth the price. 2 years later still a great set of buds.
