Messenger on watch 4

Just bought the new watch 4 and I cannot get messenger on it I have everything turned on for notifications but nothing happens  this is disappointing as I do not text as often as I use messenger am i out of luck and returning to my cheap watch?

Do you mean, Facebook messenger? If so there is no wearOS version of the app at this time. Hopefully in the future this will happen
