Hi, need some help with my galaxy watch 4. After the latest update I can no longer turn off the vibration. I have turn it off in every setting I can find but nothing helps. Every time my phone (galaxy s9+) recieves a notification or the alarm goes of, the watch vibrates. Worked perfectly before the update.. I can go long periods of time without having the watch on me and it usually lays in the bedroom and as soon as I get a message it vibrates. I dont want to turn the watch off, mostly because I should not have to. Also the watch have a new "feature" where the watch disconnects from wifi when it "feels" it does not need it.. really Samsung?

Hi @Chris Galaxy  Welcome to the Samsung Community.    You  could clear the cache partition which can help with glitches.

You should have the battery fully charged before starting this p

rocess on your smartwatch.

1. The Samsung Galaxy Watch must be turned on.

2. Now press and hold the "HOME" and "BACK" buttons simultaneously until you see the Samsung logo with "Rebooting".

3. Now release both buttons immediately and now press the home button (top right) quickly one after the other.

4. You are now in the boot menu of the Samsung Galaxy Watch. In this menu you can scroll with the "HOME" button by pressing it repeatedly.

5. Now navigate to the menu item "RECOVERY" and then press and hold the "HOME" button. This will reboot the Samsung Galaxy Watch into Android recovery mode.

6.You are now in recovery mode, which is similar to that of Samsung Galaxy smartphones.

7. Now press the "BACK" button (lower button on the right) until you have selected the menu item "WIPE CACHE PARTITION". To select it, press the "HOME" button once.

8. Now select "YES" by scrolling down and then select the entry with the home button.

9. The Wipe Cache partiton will now be executed on your Samsung Galaxy Watch. This takes a few seconds. Afterwards, the recovery menu is displayed again. Now select "Reboot Now" to restart the Samsung Galaxy Watch.

If that does not help you may need to Factory Reset, Settings-General- reset- Reset again. There should be an option to back up Data.

if you prefer a Visual Guide  on wiping partitionsee this video    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3mvRvEsAPpE

Hi and thank you for answering and trying to help me, I really appreciate it! I have followed the instructions and I will give it some time, a day or two and see if it worked, otherwise I guess I have to do a factory reset. I leave this thread unsolved in case of.

I was able to try and test if it worked , and unfortunately it did not help and I really dont think a factory reset will work either but I will try it just because.
