Motion Photos is a wonderful features in Samsung camera that capture a few seconds before and after you click the shutter button.
And Google Photo is able play back Motion Photos, both in mobile and Mac views.

Of course, it's possible to backup all photos from your samsung galaxy s10+ to your iMac. Try a third-party program called Coolmuster Android Assistant for Mac. It can help you access to all data on your samsung galaxy s10+, including photos and transfer them to your iMac directly. It's easy and safe.
