Here WeGo for S3?

Hello,

I recently got a Gear S3 Classic and am looking to install Here WeGo. However, I cannot find it in the Galaxy App store, even though according to the Here website it should be there:

The phone is an LG K8 with Android 6.0...

Any thouhts?

Launch the Gear App on your phone.

Scroll down to Samsung Galaxy Apps. Make sure Gear is chosen on the top row and search for that app.

I found.....

Galaxy Apps and ensure the Gear Tab at the top is chosen and then search for the App.

I did just that and found...

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

Aha... but I don't run Galaxy Apps as you do: my phone is not a Samsung...

I start the Samsung Gear app (the app with the yellow icon), then scroll down to Samsung Galaxy Apps, and then look for it... There are no tabs for me to choose from and the app looks different. But it gives no results...

I've also searched on the watch, by launching Samsung Galaxy Apps on the Gear S3 itself. I've gone through almost the entire category "lifestyle" but it hasn't shown up...

Could it be that it is an app that only works in combination with a Samsung phone?

Ok i understand.

Have you tried to use the Support options for the makers of the App to ask.

It is for sure that Here Wego app go along with Samsung phone only. I could not find the app too. I am using LG V20 phone paired with Gear S3 LTE. Wonder why Samsung wants to restrict that ....

Kinda like the S3 but yet again Iam a Iphone supported had loads of issues with Samsung phones. Now again its a problem with my watch. They ad apps for it and again now its only availble when you have a *****y Samsung Phone. Samung deal with this problem please or Goodbye S3 hello iWatch

You're better off getting rid of your i phone and get a proper phone like Galaxy S9 Plus!!
