Gear Fit2 Pro won't play offline spotify content

I have a Gear fit2 pro that I want to use for running and I have downloaded Spotify and a few playlists onto the device. Problem is that everytime I try to play the offline content it switches screen to my bluetooth settings and shows the paired device (Powerbeats Pro). If I press the back button and press play it'll send me back to the bluetooth settings again. If I press the play button on my Powerbeats pro it'll also send me to the bluetooth settings and show the paired device.

 

What am I doing wrong?

I see that a lot of people have had this problem.. Since 2018 and the only Samsung reply I have been able to find is that they're looking into the problem. Clearly they just gave up.. Oh well, only bought the watch for Spotify so might as well throw it in the trash now.. Super service right there guys
