Galaxy watch ultra counting ghost steps

Hi everyone, 

I got the Galaxy watch ultra at launch and my watch is consistently counting thousands of ghost steps every day that I haven't done. 

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Thousands? Can you share a screenshot of your step count for yesterday?

This is just today, i absolutely have not walked this today, not even remotely close.

Two days where i was completely inactive and it somehow how 3800 steps when I didn't leave the house

That's suspicious, mine is very accurate, look at mine for the whole day when I didn't leave the house and sat down all day. Is it your phone or watch taking the recordings? It's like someone has a Samsung phone or watch other than you and are signed into your Samsung health. Have you given a phone or watch to someone in your family?

No i haven't and it should be the watch

Can you try 24 hours without using your watch, switch it off and only use your phone and see what steps get recorded.

Also do you spend a lot of time in slow moving traffic or trains? Just trying to think outside the box.

Not gonna lie i shouldn't have to be guessing which device is counting this is poor from Samsung

I'm in traffic yes but thats just indicative of a bad algorithm
