Galaxy watch stops detecting workout

[Galaxy watch 5]

So my Galaxy watch 5 will stop detecting my workout mid way through.

it comes up with something like “It seems you have finished working out” and  have to keep pressing resume.

This will happen mid spin class so it’s not like I’m taking a break. I’ve tried the auto detect on and off and that does work, I’ve tried screen always on and that doesn’t work either.

any ideas?

Buy garmin next time, samsung is not interested in finding a solution. I have the same problem

Am just done with this *****, my watch 6 doesn't auto detect workouts, the health app doesn't show routes. This watch's metrics are *****, nothing is accurate. Shouldn't have bought this watch, should've gone for pixel watch 2. Feels like I have been scammed
