Is it just me but I'd say the 42mm "Rose gold" watch is actually a gold colour? It matches Gold watch faces much more closely than Rose Gold. 

Interestingly though, when I take a pic of the watch with my Galaxy S8 it looks rose gold. It's only an issue because I want to change the strap for a magnetic popcorn one and am concerned that it WILL be rose gold and therefore look odd against the watch.

It appears to be in between rose gold which usually appears pinkish and true gold. But I think it might be a route of rose gold coating on top of brass.  Because of the tarnish that appears on one side between the strap.  There's been a lot of complaints on this site about it,  so it's a common issue.
