Galaxy Watch 3 reset with android 15 stuck in configuration

I moved to a new smartphone, Pixel 8a.
All apps were installed during the setup and also Wearable app.
I reset my watch, started the app, paired the device with the smartphone, watch and smartphone connected via bluetooth but the watch is stuck in "check the device for configuration" and the smartphone app is stuck showing spinning images but nothing happens..

Any suggestion?

I have this problem too. i can connect my watch 6 to a phone that has old Android 13 version, but not on a phone that has the new Android 15

While pairing check bluetooth devices, I had 2 "BT devices with Watch 3 in the name".
Manually connect to one of the two to successfully pair the watch (try both)

ok. i removed the esim account from the watch and now i was able to connect.

I was not aware that Watch 3 supports eSim
