Galaxy Buds 3 Pro not registering single clicks

My Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are no longer registering single clicks for media control (pay/pause music), but they do register long presses perfectly (eg change noise controls), as well as swipe to change volume.

Earbuds media controls are switched on.

I've tried resetting them, tried different media players, and rebooted my phone, but nothing works. Strangley, the clicks do work in device diagnostics!

They've been working perfectly for many months and this is just suddenly happened. I'm at a complete loss.

All software and firmware is updated.

Any thoughts, folks?

Have you tried different apps to see if it's a software issue (Spotify, Amazon music, tidal, YT music, video player, YT etc) ...

Seems strange ...you would think if it's a bug a complete reset would squash it

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I've tried that - Media Monkey, YouTube, Spotify, YouTube Music. Nada!

Weird. You've tried resetting them so might have to be a replacement jobby 🤷

I kept rebooting my phone and resetting the Buds, and after about 4 times they are finally working properly. Must have been a little gremlin! Merry Christmas, all.
