Why are Samsung products so worthless? Genuine question. 

I paid £289 for a watch 6 like 2 months ago and can’t even give the thing away, they are selling for between £60 and £80 still newly sealed on eBay?! 

why don’t they keep any value?

Do an eBay search and filter it to show 'sold listings'

It's a tricky one but I do agree but only vs Apple, but Samsung are hyper competitive on say free watch, discount watch etc... so you do see a cyclical residual value when ebay or Cex is bombarded with people selling such items, earbuds being a big one.

If you do a search on ending soonest, anything over £100 gets zero bids, the auction just runs out, they don’t sell.

I should imagine eBay has just recently been flooded with them as they were given away with S24 pre-orders. They same happened with Watch 4s a few years ago!

There's no resale value because they're basically given away free.

Watch 6s are now a perk of buying a samsung phone, hence why it has no resale value.

Many thousands of watches have started to be delivered as free with S24 Series.

A significant number may end up on eBay and other selling sites, pushing price down.
