I recently bought a new #Galaxy watch7 44 LTE, and after being installed a couple of days ago the necessary apps I still cannot solve the problem how could I manage to answer any of the messages sent via Messenger or Viber. after texting any answer and pushing the sending button, it seems to work, but suddenly a smallexclamation mark pops up with the message under: the operation cannot be finished! ( I translated it from Hungarian )

Whatsapp works, but these two others not... Perhaps the reason is that thre is not available any individual app for the watch of these two apps?

Anybody has any idea what to do?

Thanks for any feedback in advance.

Hi,
If your Samsung watch is not allowing you to answer messages, it's likely due to notification settings or connectivity issues. Ensure that notifications are enabled for the messaging app on your watch and that your watch is properly connected to your phone via Bluetooth or a mobile network if it's an LTE model.

Here's a more detailed breakdown of potential causes and solutions:

1. Check Notification Settings:

Galaxy Wearable App:

Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your connected phone, navigate to Watch settings, then Notifications, and then App notifications.

Verify App Notifications:

Ensure notifications are turned on for the specific messaging app you're having trouble with.

Enable All Apps:

If you're having trouble with all apps, double-check that the general "App notifications" switch is also turned on.

2. Ensure Proper Connection:

Bluetooth: Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on both your watch and phone.

Proximity: If your watch doesn't have LTE, ensure it's within Bluetooth range (usually around 30 feet) of your phone.

LTE Connection: If your watch has an LTE connection, it should be able to handle messages independently.

3. Check for Updates:

Software Updates: Ensure both your watch and phone are running the latest software versions.

App Updates: Check for updates to the messaging app itself, either through the Galaxy Wearable app or the Play Store.

4. Consider Third-Party Apps:

Potential Conflicts: Third-party apps can sometimes interfere with notifications or messaging functionality. If you recently installed a new app, try disabling it to see if it resolves the issue.

5. Specific Messaging Apps:

Google Messages:

If you are using Google Messages, you can try setting it as the default messaging app on your watch.

Facebook Messenger:

If you are having trouble with Facebook Messenger, ensure notifications are enabled for it on your watch.

6. Restart Devices:

Restart Both: Restarting both your watch and phone can sometimes resolve temporary glitches.

If you've tried all these steps and are still unable to send or receive messages on your Samsung watch, it might be helpful to contact Samsung support or your mobile carrier for further assistance
