Can't make calls or txt off Samsung Ultra watch remotely

Hey,

Just wondering if anyone has had this problem via EE.

Phone works fine with BT connected but once I try and use it on its own through LTE on the watch it doesn't work.

Ran through troubleshooting with EE and they state the Esim is set up correctly.

Remote connection is on too.

Any ideas?

Yeah, multiple reports on here, and also Reddit. I've posted on the EE forum too. Data works, but no calls. EE have no idea why it doesn't work.

It's be useful if people find my post on the EE community (Devices > Android) and post so they can see there is an issue. They don't seem to be acknowledging there are multiple users, all on EE with exactly the same issue.

There is another post on here where one user seems to have got it resolved, but EE 3rd line say they didn't do it or don't know how it was fixed!

I have spoken to EE about this on the 20/09 and was told this should be sorted by the 27/09. As Samsung know about the problem and are trying to fix it.

Issue still exists, having contacted EE again today still no Update. Credited line rental for watch

According to EE Samsung have know about this problem since August and still have done nothing about it.
Just been on the phone to Samsung and was told they know nothing about this problem and it's going to be escalated to see if there is anything that they can do to help resolve the problem.

Yeah I can't see this getting fixed if I'm honest I feel it would of been resolved by now. Think I will cancel the esim. Only thing I have noticed is that people on O2 have had the same issue so maybe not an EE issue

I cancelled my esim this evening with EE and will wait to see if Samsung release an update to resolve the problem.
