Can't connect to Galaxy watch 8 classic

I just got my pre order off the Galaxy watch 8 classic and can't connect with a pixel 6 pro. I tried everything. I find the watch, I starts the process in the Galaxy wear app but around 85 percent it just stops. I also don't find the watch 8 plugin in the play store

I had trouble connecting it to my Samsung S25 Ultra.. would get stuck after Google login for the watch.

Succeeded after three tries.

Could be a Google issue or the fact I am running OnE UI 8 Beta on my S25 ultra.


Just keep doing the same thing.

Fair enough. I haven't got experience with trying to pair a Samsung watch to a Pixel phone , although I do have the pixel 6 and 7.

I would personally have got the Pixel watch for my Pixel phones as products from the same company tend to perform better in their own eco systems .
