Bud 3 pro and watch 7 Bluetooth issues

This annoys me so much, my buds don't connect to my watch unless I manually switch from Bluetooth connection from from ulta 25 to my watch. This means I cannot control the buds app on watch 7 as it says not connected. Really?

Is there a way for dual pairing? 

Even my Shokz do this.
