Hi! I’ve had this OLED monitor for a little over a month now, S32DG802SU. Today i turned it on again after using it for a few hours and i noticed this weird lines on it. i have tried turning the monitor off and letting the capacitors discharge as i saw people recommending online. That half of the monitor would have been in fairly bright sunlight the whole time i was using it so im not sure if that has anything to do with it. Is there something wrong with my monitor or is it something that will just fix itself??

This doesn't appear to be normal screen burn. As mentioned, I would contact them and see if you could get a repair.

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community!

In my opinion, this may need to be repaired. In the meantime, I would stop using it overnight and hopefully see improvements in the morning. If not, contact a repair center.

i’m pretty sure it’s the monitor as i was taking photos of my old one so that i can sell it and a couple minutes after i turned this one on and it was like this. i will try changing the cables tomorrow if nothing has changed, thank you!

do you have any idea of what would’ve caused it in the first place??

Honestly, not too sure. To me, this looks like a backlighting issue, but obviously, being an OLED screen, that can't be. Could it be burn-in from the sun? This could be a case of waiting, or a repair via Samsung.

this is my first OLED so i’m honestly not 100% sure how burn in actual works but i know it couldn’t have been caused by anything i had on the screen as i only had 2 things open and none of them match up to the lines. the sun wasn’t completely on the right side, my pc blocks most of the light so it was only on the bottom right most of the day, and i never noticed it when using the monitor during that time. it was only later when i turned it back on that i realised the lines were there
