Just received my 65” Neo QLed QN70F TV today (QE65QN70FAUXXU).

It’s been on for 3 hours, but when I click the ‘Home’ button on the smart remote, it briefly takes me to the home page, freezes then returns to my last channel I was watching.

Sometimes it just freezes right away, then others I can move for like 1 second before it freezes.

Not sure why it’s doing it.

I have tried:

- Holding remote power button for 30s

- Hard rebooting (unplugging for 2+ Min)

- Reset the Smart Hub in settings

But it’s still doing it, it’s a little deflating after only just receiving the TV.

We have the same issues and after online and live support tonight our issue has been referred on to the technical team. You can use your phone with the Smart Thing app as the remote and it works.

A lot of people are having this issue since today's update. Just a coincidence that you got your tv today. Hopefully they'll put out another update soon.

I've just been tearing my hair out with the same issue for the last 2 hours on my Samsung Frame, has been fine since we bought it several months ago. Tonight, it did some auto update and completely screwed up the Smart hub homescreen apps- keeps going straight to Samsung TVplus, remote navigation works fine there. But if I try to go to Hub homescreen it comes up and just freezes, can't navigate to anything, just continues to play the TVplus channel in the background and after a few seconds reverts back to the TVPlus channel. Tried resetting Smart hub, reboot, different remotes, mobile phone Smart remote, de-selecting 'autostart TVPlus'....NOTHING works. You would think in this tech advanced age, Samsung's engineers would test these things before forcing out into everyone's TVs en masse. If anyone finds a solution please let us all know.

Same problem here.  I had to go back to using my firestick.  Buy a $1,500 tv and the software doesn't even work.  Great job by Samsung.

Seems that several people have posted about similar things.

I’d press the home button & it would freeze, close & go back to the channel I was on Samsung tv plus.

I reached out to support & they got me to:

Press and hold the standby key on the TV for 5 seconds – The standby LED
will flash repeatedly.
* Immediately as the key is released, press and hold the standby key on the
remote control for 5 seconds – The standby LED will flash repeatedly and the TV
screen will go blank.
* Initially, the TV shows the standby LED, after 5 seconds the standby LED
will turn off – If the standby LED remains lit for longer than 5 seconds,
please advise the customer that it will be necessary to start the procedure
again from Step 1.
* Approximately 30 seconds later, the screen will turn on with the Samsung
boot logo.
* After the Samsung boot logo has been displayed, the screen will once more
turn off for approximately 1 minute.
* The TV will then restart for the final time in its initial setup condition.

I then setup the TV again using the QR code. The menus were working again, & slowly everything else started to come back (was showing as logged out, then 5 minutes later it updated to logged in, Samsung tv plus was showing as unavailable the 5 mins later came back).
