My TV starts to do this, it overheats and I can't even put my hand on it, I talked to the service center and the technicians that came told me it was all my fault because I have a bias lighting (LED strips) behind my TV, which are not even working. Not even measuring anything or evaluating with a thermal camera, Samsung Mexico keeps assigning me to the same service center that says the same. Help!!

I am having the same problem. It gets extremely hot and we measured our TV and it read 165 degrees Fahrenheit

I spoke off the record with someone in Samsung, and they told me there was a couple of reasons: first is the backplate of some TVs are made from plastic and second one is how the TV process the HDR, so is a design problem and its their fault. Samsung didn't want to apply me the warrantee so I change to an LG 86UR87 which is made of metal.
