I have since yesterday a new Samsung TV (40T5300AE model 2023) in my home and yes I know how to check the connections and none of them will show up the 5ghz wifi. Previously I had an older Samsung Smart TV (model 2019) with no problem to connect to a 5Ghz network at all.
My router has the connections separated for the 2.4 and 5ghz so it’s not my router and all other devices can pick up the 5ghz.
I have checked software updates and the TV is up to date. I also tried a full tv/network and router reset and again did not work.
Also checked the router settings (problem is not likely router related, because my previous Samsung TV worked fine with my 5Ghz connection). Tried to use another channel (36 iso Auto) in my 5ghz wifi setup. No result.
Please help.
