I have been promised by Samsung team member that I will get upgrade one connect box with 2.1 hdmi for my Q90R as soon the lockdown finished, I am still waiting here?????

don’t know, but that’s what they say about the updates in the German forum, so nothing about an eARC update:

Any word on OCB upgrade for QN65Q9FN? I dropped 3K on this set 2 years ago. The line about 8K is nonsense since you still need HDMI 2.1 for 4K at 120Hz.

I have the Q900R on latest version 1300 and it did not get an update on these HDMI 2.1 features. Where did you get this information?

@tom99 i believe it was in the Q900R forum and it was even marked as solved as the main subject of the discussion was about the 2.1 HDMI feature for the Q900R seires
