Hello!

I have a LE37c650 tv. I have been trying to connect to my home network via a Wi-Fi Range Extender.

I have followed the instructions inserted the extender into the USB port on the TV and the Wi-Fi led flashes.

I then connect via the ethernet cable to my laptop, the laptop sees the extender and lets me log-in to the extender wedsite.

I then select the router and insert the wireless key which is accepted.

I then remove the ethernet cable from the laptop and connect to the tv.

When I look at the network on the tv it shows nothing and if I look at media player it doesn't see my pc just the USB stick.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong, please?

Cheers,

Colin

Are you using the same SSID and password for your router, on the TV?

When I look on the TV it shows the network as wired, but it shows nothing as to Ip address etc.

When I set up the extender I use the correct SSID and Password.

What happens if you change the TV connection to wireless? Also what make and model is the extender. You could also try the extender close to but not connected to the TV, again with wireless mode on the TV

Hello,

Wireless isn't an option on the tv. However, the tv now sees the PC on the network but the IP address etc is still blank.

The extender is just called "Wi-Fi Range Extender 300M. The tv doesn't see the PC straight away when Media Player selected, it takes about 30secs to appear on the screen.

Cheers
