1) Have had the ks8000 since 16/02/2017. This tv seems to have problems and I feel I've downgraded since my excellent 6 series Samsung. Biggest problem atm is the Amazon app. I can't seem to delete it and reinstall. A couple of days ago it just stopped working. It shows the Amazon splash screen and that's it. As a subscriber to Amazon Prime this is not good. Nothing wrong with my internet setup. Anyone got any ideas?
Pother problems include:
2) The so called 'smart' system will not recognise my PS4 Pro. Sees it only as a blue ray player. As soon as I start playing games the sound goes off. I have to switch off then on again the home theatre then switch from the HDMI the HT is connected to back to The ps4 to get sound. All HDMI cables go through the box to the TV. Not a problem with the 6 series tv.
3) its hit or miss whether the 'smart' control switches on everything at the start.
4) A white spot randomly appears in the upper right corner of the tv. This is quite distracting as my brain seems to want to focus on that rather than enjoying the program I'm watching.
Really unimpressed with this TV...

I had already tried that, but thanks for the reply. There has been a firmware update since and so far the app is working ok.

It sounds like you need to reset your Smart Hub, @alanrco.
To do this go to Menu > Smart Hub > Smart Hub Reset.
This will refresh everything and sort out any glitches.
If not then come back and we can try some more troubleshooting. :robothappy:
