My TV updated to the latest firmware (2000.2 4 Sept 2024) 2 or 3 weeks ago.
I tried to see if there was a new update due to another issue i am having and since the last update i get this message which is very different to the one i used to get when there was no update.
The new message seems to suggest the TV can't check for updates - http 404 error?
The TV is connected to the wifi and all the streaming services are fine. The wifi settings all show all is fine.
Anyone else?

I asked my TV/AV colleagues about this one. They’ve advised that the error message is a result of a Samsung-side server glitch that’s now being corrected (rather than any issue with the TV itself); and that there are indeed no updates available for your TV just yet.

I have NEVER been able to run any Updates and like you it's always connected to the web.
A couple of years ago it informed me that it had updated itself, but since then, nothing.
I have tried to find out what software edition l have but where it should say is blank.
This is my second Samsung tv and it will be my last.

I’m having exactly same issue with same model of tv since the last update ‘ is this just because we have the latest software available? Or is this a technical problem ?

Thank you both for confirming it not just me.
I am hoping they will release a new update soon which if it can't be downloaded via Wi-Fi can be installed via USB drive.
I tried the same update on a USB drive from https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/UE43CU7100KXXU/#downloads as 2000.2 still shows as the latest update. Interesting thing was when the USB was checked for an update i got the same error as before, without the http404 bit on the end.
Let's see what Samsung does...
@dbp1312 - If you are sure this is the exact same model then it might be worth trying the USB drive route to update the TV.

Are you able to share the info that's on your 'About this TV'? (Apart from the serial number -- if you're sharing a picture of that 'About this TV' screen then block out the serial number.)
Menu > Settings > Support > About This TV.

And all sorted. Now shows the current and latest firmwares plus the old message is back. Thanks again @AntS
