Anyone else have issues with 'gamepass' flashing on the screen every minute since the update to 2.5?

Only seems to be an issue on the TV, phone works fine

Seems this is my problem. Can't get the TV to get the latest version. Any thoughts?

That's what comes up on the install page. You need to load game pass, go to your account page and on there it well till you what the real version of the app is.

Make sure that your TV is on auto update for apps too

Just received an update from GamePass support:

"As per the latest updates from our technical team, the issue with flashing the Game Pass logo is completely resolved."

Haven't had time to verify myself though.

Thanks - just checked and it is 2.6.1. So that's all good.  Thanks for all the help.  Going to check if it is better today.

Done a little bit of watching this morning and the Gamepass flash seems to be gone.  It also seems to 'snap' to the highest quality stream faster.

I still can't fast forward, rewind or scrub through the video, only jump very slowely in 10 sec intervals.Effectively mean I can't resume watching something. Checked by firmware etc and all seems up to date. Am I missing something?

Glad it's working now.

The fast forward issue is a hangover from the mobile app where you can just drag the marker to where you want and away you go. The TV app is just a slightly adopted version of the mobile app rather than a bespoke one. The TV doesn't have a 'grab' option so there isn't a real fast forward, and it is a real pain, especially if you have to leave a game half way through and come back to it at a later date. To skip the adverts, if you are running behind on a live game, press the forward button 32 times quickly and it does the job. I take no responsibility for repetitive stress injury caused 😁
