Model Code : UE65TU7020KXXU

Version No :02/ UTU6900E / UTU6900T-U65TM2

S/N:0GV23HBT294340B.

I'm trying to watch a 4K movie but I'm getting message saying

" This TV HDMI port does not support HDCP 2.2. Content will play back at the next supported resolution . Try connecting to other HDMI ports on your TV ". My tv only has 2 HDMI ports and neither will play in 4K , why won't my 4K TV play 4K ?

Thanks in advance I really appreciate any help given.

Thanks

James

Hi @Jakeyboy  Certainly the ports should be  HDCP 2.2 compatible.

However  Input Signal Plus needs to be enabled for external Devices, ensure this is  turned   on via the  External Device Manager Menu.    This  will  be Settings-General-External Device Manager.

However if this is not the issue I would suggest you try a Factory Reset of the Tv initially .If that does not resolve it possibly there is  a fault with the HDMI cable and just at that point it would be wise to try another cable.   Some information here, though you just need a High Speed Cable.  https://www.techadvisor.com/article/724300/best-hdmi-cables.html
