Useful tips for users participating in the One UI Beta Programme

Hello everyone, thanks for participating in One UI Beta Programme 😊

You can find information about known issues and  countermeasures below:

■ 1st Beta update known issues and countermeasures:

- When Quick panel is open, the icons are not visible and Quick panel area doesn’t react to touch. (Countermeasure: Run Settings app > Display > Change to Light or Dark)

- When gesture hints option is turned off, Home screen grid is changed which causes apps and widgets to disappear from Home screen.
(Countermeasure: Apps and widgets will be restored if you change Home screen grid to have gesture hints)

- When changing from rear camera to front camera, the Angle view setting doesn’t match the set value
(Countermeasure: Select and use the desired Angle view icon)

- When running some versions of Expert Raw app user is redirected to Galaxy Store update screen
(Countermeasure: The latest version of the Expert Raw app - version 3.0.00.8 is being distributed to the server and will be available this week

- Google Pay app doesn’t work (Countermeasure: Google Pay will be supported in the commercial version of One UI 6)

Are you able to confirm if Tmobile locked devices are participating this year? I know we were able to participate last year, but I haven't seen anything so far regarding this beta

Only phone purchased directly from samsung are eligible to participate in the beta. If its both from a mobile provider unfortunately wont quality.

Thanks, that's very strange since I participated last year with my T-Mobile purchased S22 Ultra

It seems only unlocked phones can take part in beta

I guess so, but very strange because I was able to participate last year with the exact same device

Thanks for letting us know about Google Pay, I suppose we'll just have to wait, and revert to Samsung Wallet.

I have managed to leave the beta u6 version, but I still have to roleback to previous version, How do I do this please?

I lost my Google search bar window on ui6. Small niggle but thought you ought to be aware.
