🔌 Charging Your Galaxy Watch: The Basics

Place your Galaxy Watch on its wireless charger, lining up the centre of the watch’s back with the centre of the charger. Think of it like a mini docking station.

If you’ve lost your charger to the abyss that is your junk drawer (we’ve all been there), good news: compatible wireless charging pads or devices with similar tech can come to the rescue.

⚠️ Pro tip: To avoid any damage to your Galaxy Watch, only use Samsung-approved chargers, cables, batteries, and docks – no off-brand adventures! Your watch deserves VIP treatment.

🔁 Charging with Wireless Power Sharing – Because Sharing Is Caring

You can use your Galaxy smartphone to give your watch a power boost – no cables, no stress.

 Here’s how:

  1. Swipe down from the top of your smartphone with two fingers to open the Quick Panel on your phone > Tap the Wireless Power Sharing icon.

  1. Place your Galaxy Watch back-to-back with your phone (model S10 or higher).

        3. Your phone will vibrate when charging starts, and your watch will light up to indicate that it’s charging.

       4. Once your watch has enough juice, separate the two devices and turn Wireless Power Sharing off – you’re all                done here!

* Please note, this method of charging is not compatible with the Galaxy Watch 7 or Galaxy Watch Ultra.

🧃 Save Battery with Power Saving Mode

Because sometimes, less really is more.

Activating Power Saving Mode puts your watch into chill mode by:

  • Turning off: Wake-up gestures, Always On Display, and Wi-Fi
  • Limiting: CPU performance, background network use, location services, and syncing
  • Reducing: Brightness and screen timeout

Think of it as your watch sipping battery instead of chugging it.

To activate:

  1. Open Settings > Tap Battery

So, whether you’re smashing your fitness goals, replying to messages on the go, or simply flexing your Galaxy Watch at brunch – keeping your battery happy means your watch is always ready when you are.
