Okay, maybe you can perform a reset of the tv as well. Only if the problem persists. Just to rule things out. It's an expensive device, so i hope it's not a broken LCD screen..

Hey @Djows! I'm so sorry to hear of the black line on your screen, if it's still visible on the beach picture (while there are no external devices connected to your TV) it's very likely a defect. But considering you've got a K-model, your TV probably hasn't hit its 2-year anniversary yet so we can still offer you a repair within warranty. Just to be sure though, could you take a photo of the picture-test screen and upload it here? I'd like to see the black line for myself first.

- your name, tel. nr, email- and homeadress;
- modelcode and serialnumber of the TV (see the sticker on the back);
- copy of the proof of purchase.
And I'll make sure our service centre contacts you asap for a repair appointment.

can i get people with this problem to contact bbc watchdog as this is a common fault and samsung not taking any responsibility for this

Good evening. If you have the same problem, please pass on the Model Code. This is on the sticker on the back of the TV.
I don't know if you live in the Netherlands, because here it is the case that the supplier is obliged to sell a reliable product with a normal lifespan.
You have a purchase agreement with the supplier. Not with Samsung.
So it doesn't make sense to bring in bbc watchdog ...
