65S95D auto lip sync does not work with Sonos arc.

Old model QN65Q9FN did work well with all input sources.

 

The TV is connected through original Sonos arc HDMI cable in HDMI 3.

TV options tested:

  • eARC on/off
  • audio format: PCM, AUTO, pass-through

Sonos helpdesk tested:

  • Turn off all devices, and after: only fysically connect Sonos in HDMI. (did not work).
  • Sended test reports to Sonos:
    • They see no errors from the sonos or the TV. Something noteworthy is that the TV signal gives 0ms as offset. This is probably the problem. The TV does not give correct signal for auto-lip-sync function, of not in compatible format with sonos arc.

Tried manually offsetting / delay sound:

  1. Internal apps of the TV (i.e. Netflix) need delay of around 80ms.
  2. When using Xbox or other devices (TV provider) the delay of 80 is too much. But there is no option for delay for ach separate HDMI.

 

Can you help me out? Does somebody have the same problem, or maybe have the same setup but with auto lip sync active and working? So I get to know if the problem is only my TV or all S95D TV’s.
