USB MASS STORAGE

Hi I have a samsung mass storage flash drive if i connect to my s8 works perfect opens up 

But when I connect to my  samsung tab 4

The light on the mass storage lights up but 

Nothing ?

Can anyone help 

I've debugged it  on developer  but still nothing.

On your Samsung Tab 4 does it have the appropriate software to read it.

For example, ES File Explorer can.
