Hi,
Our son changed the login pattern for his tablet and can’t remember the new pattern.
As a result, he can no longer log in to the tablet. I’ve tried accessing the factory reset screen using the power and volume buttons, but it’s not working.
When I hold both buttons, the tablet keeps restarting. If I release one or both buttons after the tablet shows the startup screen (Samsung logo) again, it always takes me back to the login screen for the pattern.
What am I doing wrong? My son is fine with a full factory reset of the tablet, but I can't seem to get it to work.
The tablet is a Galaxy Tab A9 Plus, purchased in late 2024.
