I have a tab6lite and have downloaded the bbc sound app then downloaded a program fro there

When I play the program with wif5on everis ok but if I turnthe WiFi off the program stops I dothat to simulate going outside and not having no WiFi signal I thought when I downloaded it I don't need WiFi 

Any help would be appreciated

It's a streaming app only now so you do need a connection, it doesn't actually download anything apart from program information and the DRM to play it.
