Recent upgrade from a Tab S3 (T-825) that was also fitted with a sim. I never managed to get that tablet to place a call using Google assistant. Before buying the S8 I confirmed with Samsung that this was now a supported feature in the tablets, which was confirmed.
However, same as the older tablet, assistant says "sorry I can't make calls yet" I've gone through numerous help screens and nothing seems to be set wrong.
I can text and call from the tablet just like a mobile, just can't use the assistant to place calls and text.
Any suggestions?
