Hi Folks,

Hope someone can help. My samsung tab s10+ went to do the one ui 6.1 update, got to 25 percent and froze. it then rebooted on the update screen got to 25 percent and froze. it is in a bootloop. Battery was working fine up till then but now it can be plugged in for hours looping and still say its dead the second its unplugged. Plugging into odin/smart switch on pc do nothing as device is not reconginsed by pc. Any ideas on how to bring it back to life?

Hi! Welxome to the samsung members communit!.

This is strange- the first thing I would do is;
Soft restart
To soft reset a Samsung tablet, you can press and hold the Power button and the Volume down button at the same time. You can also try pressing and holding the Power button for up to two minutes to shut down the device

Due to being right after an update I would suggest attempting to (after soft restart):
Connect phone to PC/laptop 1. Turn off the device. 2. Press and hold the Volume Up key and Power key. 3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys. 4. An "Installing system update" message may show briefly before the Android Recovery menu options appear. 5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight "clear cache partition". 6. Press the Power key to select. 7. Press the Volume down key to highlight "Yes," then press the Power key to select. 8. When the process is complete, "Reboot system now" is highlighted. 9. Press the Power key to restart the device

If none of the above work it may be worth contacting samsung under warrently claims and getting it sorted

Honestly, I would say contact Samsung for a repair, or at least speak to an advisor to book it under warranty. It's frustrating that you have to do this, but it seems to be the only way. My only other idea would be to test another cable, but I assume you already have.

Hi @matt_h12314 and warm welcome 👋

Sorry about your issue you're facing..

Are you using USB cable from the box? If so try different USB cables as most of the times it used to be cable issue where USB cable is not supported for data transfer etc and only charging so you might try different cables so PC can recognise.

Try wipe cache partition but turn off your device and press and hold volume down and power buttons until recovery menu appears.
