Just bought the above for web browsing. Unfortunately I cannot use screenshot pro, there seems to be some security issue with the device. Anyone got any solutions? Thanks

Here are a few trouble shooting steps.

Go to Settings > Apps > Special access > All files access.

Search for "Samsung capture" and enable it if it's not already allowed.

If it's enabled, try toggling it off and on again.

Check your device's internal memory to ensure there's enough space for screenshots.

If memory is low, clear some space by deleting unnecessary files or apps.

Ensure your Galaxy Tab A9 is running the latest software version.

Check for updates in Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Alternative Methods:

Google Assistant: Try using Google Assistant to take a screenshot by saying "Hey Google, take a screenshot".

Screen Recorder: Use a screen recorder app to capture the screen content and then extract the desired screenshot from the recorded video.

Also some may have restrictions for privacy and security and may not allow screenshots to be taken.

If the issue persists, consider contacting Samsung's customer support for further assistance.

Provide them with details about the problem and the steps you've already taken.

Thanks Fiona for replying. Using Samsung's screenshot system works fine, but it is inconvenient, one has to press vol down and power button simultaneously. Screenshot pro has a button on the screen.

Are you talking about the assistant menu? In settings > Accessibility > interaction and dexterity > assistant menu.
I've included some screen shot, you can also place the button anywhere on the screen.
You may also have the option for palm swipe to capture. You will find this in settings > advanced features > motions and gestures.
Also in the edge panel task has the screenshot button if the A9 has the edge panel. You may also find screen shot button in the quick panel. Press the little pen icon at top, see if screen shot is available to add to your quick panel buttons. 1754502792614.jpg1754502792625.jpg
