Can you imagine? A £280 Samsung tablet in the year 2024 that CAN NOT play Roblox.

One of the most popular games in the world.

Think of the sales that they lose by blocking out over 100 million potential customers.

Even worse, the tablet has been out for months and zero acknowledgement or a fix.

Just wanted to warn people that are thinking of buying this for their children.

Currently going through returns process.

Thanks.  Your screenshot strongly suggests that it's not an issue with Roblox, but a known multi-touch issue with the Samsung Tab A9+ that effects other apps besides Roblox.

And it's perfectly reasonable to assume that the most popular game in the world will work on a new device.  Why would somebody assume otherwise?  That would be stupid.

Make sure you update the tablet. I bought the 8gb version for my daughter and couldn't see roblox in the store. After updating android version, I was able to download roblox and it runs great for my daughter.

Mate. My post is from March. 4 month's ago. The tablet has been returned and I've bought the Honor Pad 9. That admittedly has worser software than Samsung but is leaps and bounds ahead in spec for slightly more cost.

Just found this thread after running into problems with installing Roblox on three Galaxy A9 tablets purchased in 2024. Good news is I was able to successfully install on all 3.

The main issue is that searching for "Roblox" in the Google App Store, does not show the game. I had to use the Google search bar to get to the install button.

Additionally at the install screen it says that Roblox is not compatible with this device. It wasn't a hard stop so I just installed anyway.

Two of the tablets have Parental Controls set up.  Roblox is rated as a Teen Game so on the parental device I had to go to the Family Link app and make sure I allowed apps to be installed up to a Teen rating for both kids account. For some reason one kids account was default set to "up to 13" and the other was set to "teen" so the "up to 13" wouldn't work until I changed the setting.

Lastly if you are transferring a Roblox account from an old device to a new device, the Roblox account needs to log out of the old device before it can be transferred to the new device (be sure to have the Roblox account name / email and Roblox password on hand).

Just wanted to post to save a few hours of headache for anyone else on Christmas Eve, lol.
