I've never heard of Unisoc Tiger T618. While it's supposedly faster than the Snapdragon in the Tab A7 it makes me wonder how it compares for longevity having been bitten before by Mediatek failing just out of warranty on me.

I haven't heard Unisoc before too. It could be like MediaTek processors probably. My mom uses A10s with MediaTek P22, and it horribly lags after Android 11 update. Not satisfied at all. If Unisoc can be like MediaTek, it's not worth it.😐

Mine was in an Acer Iconia Tablet, it always ran hot from day one and eventually cooked itself I reckon because the tablet was plastic backed so insulated the components rather than dissipating heat like an aluminium cover can

What was year of production? If it is MediaTek CPU lower than 2017 year, then you have spend money for nothing. MediaTek is getting better than Exynos with latest CPU, but old gen is still trash🤢

I didn't buy it, the Tablet was a gift. I replaced it with a Tab A7 earlier this year

Tab A7 is good, Snapdragon processor never leaves you behind with every thing you download or play😃
