Swipe for split screen - how?

I just downloaded the UI 5.1 on my S6 Lite but can't seem to get the new "swipe for split screen" to work.

How are you supposed to do it?

Settings > advanced features > labs. Toggle on swipe for split screen. Basically just use two fingertips from the edge of the screen, side or bottom edge, swipe them two finger tips from the edge of the screen.
